Most of us make our life decisions from a position of distinct privilege.
Standing among those privileged few, recently I paid more for a cup of coffee than millions, if not billions, of my fellows live on each day.
The contented life I, and those around me, live is one of unimaginable opulence for many, but for most in the Western world it is pretty average.
Should I feel favoured, guilty or shamed into action?
I'm unsure, but understand the freedom democracy allows us in answering our wants is implicated in this massive imbalance between individuals and nations of the world....
