Greater Shepparton's Visitor Information Centre has experienced a seven per cent increase in visitors to the facility during the last 12 months.
The Wyndham St centre had 34 669 walk-in visitors in 2009, 2000 more than the 32 264 which dropped by the previous year.
The centre's website _ www.discovershepparton.com.au _ has also generated a considerable amount of interest with more than $160 000 worth of accommodation in Shepparton being booked through the site since it was established in September last year.
